All-LoL-champions-released-in-2010

The League of Legends roster expanded by 24 new champions during 2010, beginning with the tank-class Yordle Poppy in January and concluding with the serpentine spellcaster Cassiopeia mere days before the season’s end.

During its second year, League witnessed Riot Games introducing fresh characters in almost every update, sometimes even launching two champions simultaneously, as seen with Gragas and Pantheon’s joint February debut.

A notable observation about these champions is the significant number that underwent later redesigns. Notable examples include Galio and Urgot, whose original kits were completely replaced, along with Irelia, Xin Zhao, and Pantheon. Several others received visual and mechanical updates in recent years. Among the 24 releases, Lux and Kennen remain the only ones who haven’t received complete gameplay modifications.

Several of these League champions maintain their competitive viability in season 14’s dynamic meta environment, with Gragas, Cassiopeia, and Trundle standing out as prime examples.
